Vikings Wild Feast Review: Four Feast Tiers, Coins and a 10,000× Cap

Vikings Wild Feast coin bonus with five x5 grid multipliers and coin symbols

Vikings Wild Feast is a 6×5 video slot from ICONIC21, released on 13 January 2026. It has no free spins: its bonus is a hold-and-respin round with coins, cauldrons and clovers, and it comes in four tiers depending on how many Scatters start it. RTP is 96.01%, volatility is high, bets run from €0.10 to €25 and the top win is 10,000× the bet. Despite the “progressive” wording in some launch coverage, there is no jackpot — the word refers to the escalating bonus tiers.

Launch materials mention “15,626 paylines”. Six reels of five positions give 56 = 15,625 combinations, so the extra one is almost certainly a typo.

ICONIC21 has not published a full paytable or help file outside the game. The headline figures above are confirmed by the studio and by several databases; we checked the coin values and the Feast Till Drop buy against the game’s own screens. The symbol pays, the other tiers’ trigger counts and two of the buy prices still come from one independent review, so check the rules screen before relying on them.

Who makes it

ICONIC21 is the studio that until September 2024 traded as BETER Live, when it rebranded and became independent of BETER Group. It is known mainly for live casino and game shows such as Gravity Blackjack and Gravity Roulette; RNG slots like this one are a smaller part of its catalogue.

How the base game pays

Wins are paid for three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels from the leftmost reel, in any row — a ways system, compared with paylines and clusters in our pay systems guide. Base-game pays are modest:

The coin ranges for each grade stay on screen above the reels.
  • Low symbols — 10, J, Q, K, A: 0.5× to 0.7× the bet for six of a kind;
  • High symbols — war horn, sword, battleaxe, helmet and warhammer: 1.5× to 3× for six of a kind;
  • Scatter — a pair of tankards, which starts the tiered bonus.

The reported hit frequency is 16.31% — about one winning spin in six — and the bonus arrives about once in 124 spins. Almost all of the game’s potential sits in the bonus.

The coin bonus

Six coins on screen start the basic bonus, a hold-and-respin round:

  1. The coins lock in place and you get 3 respins.
  2. Every new coin locks too and resets the respins to 3.
  3. A Beer Mug adds one more respin, up to five.
  4. The round ends when the respins run out, and the coin values are paid.

Coins that land in the base game pay nothing on their own; in the bonus they stay until the round ends or a Magic Cauldron collects them. They come in four grades, as listed on the game’s help screen:

Coin Values (× bet)
Bronze 0.2×, 0.5×, 1×, 2×, 3× or 4×
Silver 5×, 10×, 15× or 20×
Gold 25×, 50× or 100×
Diamond 150×, 250× or 500×

The mechanics are the same family as the respin features in other games — Kong Wonder Wilds runs the same idea with Wilds instead of coins — what resets the counter and what ends the round is explained in our respins guide.

Cauldrons and clovers

Two special symbols turn a collection of coins into a bigger payout:

  • Magic Cauldron — activates the clovers and grid multipliers on screen, then collects every prize into one position.
  • Green clover — multiplies the coins next to it.
  • Gold clover — multiplies the whole grid by x2, x3, x4, x5, x10 or x20.

A gold clover at x20 on a grid with a Diamond coin is how the round reaches the 10,000× cap. Our multipliers guide compares this kind of collector multiplier with Wild and cell multipliers.

Four feast tiers

The Scatter tankards start stronger versions of the coin round. ICONIC21 confirms four escalating tiers; the trigger counts and multipliers below are the reported values:

Vikings Wild Feast reels with five tankard Scatter symbols
Five tankard Scatters in one base-game spin.
Scatters Tier Grid multipliers
3 Drunk Crew (also listed as Drunken Crew) x2, with Cauldrons active
4 Vikings’ Feast x3
5 Feast Till Drop Five grid multipliers of x5
6 Ragnarök Party x10

This ladder is what some launch coverage called “progressive”. There is no jackpot pool; the most any spin can pay is the fixed 10,000× cap. How real progressive jackpots differ is explained in our jackpots guide.

Bonus buy and ante bet

Where buys are allowed, Feast Till Drop costs 200× the bet: the game’s buy screen shows €200 at a €1 bet for 3 refilling respins with sticky symbols and five x5 grid multipliers. The reported prices of 40× for the regular coin bonus and 100× for Drunk Crew we have not seen in game. An ante bet raises the cost per spin in exchange for a higher trigger chance. Bonus buys are not offered in Great Britain. How buy prices relate to RTP is covered in our bonus buy guide.

Vikings Wild Feast against other high-volatility games we review

Vikings Wild Feast Gator Hunters Lobster House
RTP 96.01% 96.11% 96.51%
Hit frequency 16.31% 17.23% —
Bonus about 1 in 124 236 112
Bonus type Hold-and-respin Free spins Free spins
Max win 10,000× 25,000× 4,000×

Vikings Wild Feast sits between the two: its bonus comes almost twice as often as in Gator Hunters, with less than half the ceiling, and its cap is well above Lobster House, whose free spins come at a similar rate. Why bonus frequency and volatility go together is shown in our volatility guide.

Pros and cons

Bonus about once in 124 spins, more often than most high-volatility games we review.
Four bonus tiers with growing grid multipliers.
10,000x maximum win.
Bonus buys from 40x where allowed.
No free spins, and the base game pays little.
Symbol pays and some tier details come from one independent source.
A lower RTP version is also offered.
Only 16.31% of spins win.

Who should play it, and who should skip it

Good fit if you:

  • like coin-collection bonuses more than free spins;
  • want a bonus that comes about once in 124 spins rather than once in 200+;
  • enjoy a ladder of bonus tiers with something to aim for.

Probably not for you if you:

  • want a busy base game — wins there are small;
  • expect a jackpot from the “progressive” label — there is none;
  • prefer a studio with a long slot track record and published help files.
