Kong Wonder Wilds is an Inspired slot from spring 2024 and a follow-up to its Call of the Wild: a 6×4 grid with 25 lines, Mystery symbols in the base game and a Wild Win & Spin bonus in which Wilds are collected on three “lives”, boosted by two special Wilds that add spins and line multipliers. Volatility is medium and the top win is 2,500×. The catch is the RTP: Inspired lists only 94.5% and 92%.

Base game: Mystery symbols

At random on a base-game spin, a reel modifier drops Mystery symbols onto the reels. All of them then turn into one random symbol — the Wild is among the options — which can complete several lines at once. The main event, though, is collecting Wilds.

Wins need 3 to 6 matching symbols on a line, starting from the leftmost reel. The values below come from the game’s own Awards screen at a 1.00 stake, so they read as multiples of the total bet:

Wild Win & Spin

  1. Six or more Wilds of any type in the base game start the bonus.
  2. You get 3 lives. Only Wilds and empty positions spin; every Wild that lands stays.
  3. Each new Wild resets the lives to 3.
  4. The collection ends when the lives run out or the grid is full; the collected Wilds then pay out in Wild Win Spins.

Two special Wilds change the round:

  • Spin Power Wild — each one in the trigger adds one extra Wild Win Spin;
  • X Power Wild — becomes a x2 Wild and switches on line multipliers; new X Power Wilds in the round carry x2, x3, x5 or x10.

If both special Wilds are part of the trigger, the round guarantees at least two Wild Win Spins with line multipliers. It is a hold-and-respin design like Vikings Wild Feast’s coin bonus, with Wilds instead of coins — compared with other respin features in our respins guide.
