WagerWild.com publishes reviews of online slots. A review here tells you how a game pays, what its numbers are and which version of the maths a casino may be running, so you can judge whether the game fits your budget before you load it.
What the site covers
At the moment WagerWild.com covers slot reviews only: games from studios such as Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Pragmatic Play and BGaming. All of them are listed in Slot Reviews. We do not publish casino ratings or bonus offers.
How a review is checked
- The provider comes first. RTP, volatility, max win, grid, paylines and release date are taken from the studio’s own game page or game sheet.
- Two independent databases. Each figure is compared with at least two established slot databases or review sites. When they disagree, the review names the figure it uses and says why.
- Every RTP version we can confirm. Many studios ship one game with several RTP settings, and the casino picks which one you get. A review lists all confirmed versions, not just the highest. How to check the RTP version at your casino.
- Feature rules in plain words. Triggers, multipliers, retriggers and bonus-buy prices are described the way the game’s rules screen states them, without guesses about “hot” or “due” games.
- Sources at the end. Each review closes with the pages its numbers came from, so you can check them yourself.
What the numbers mean
| Term | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| RTP | The share of all money staked that a game pays back over a very long run (millions of spins). 96% RTP does not mean you get €96 back from €100 in one session. |
| Volatility | How unevenly the returns arrive. High volatility: long losing runs and rare large wins. Low volatility: smaller wins more often. Studios use their own scales, so labels are not always comparable between providers (examples). |
| Hit frequency | How often a spin returns any win, including wins smaller than the stake. |
| Max win | The largest payout the game allows, as a multiple of the bet. Reaching it is extremely rare; some providers publish the odds. |
More terms — from ante bet to Wild — are defined in our slot glossary.
Corrections and updates
Every review shows the date of its last update. If you find a wrong number, send the game name and your source to webmaster@wagerwild.com: we check it against the provider and fix the page. Reviews are also revisited when a studio adds an RTP version or releases a sequel.
How the site is funded
Some pages may link to online casinos through affiliate links. If you sign up through one, WagerWild.com may receive a commission at no cost to you. It never changes the numbers in a review: RTP, volatility and max win come from the provider and are the same whichever casino you choose.
Play responsibly
Online gambling is for adults (18+ or the legal age where you live) and only where it is legal. Treat it as paid entertainment:
- decide on a time and money limit before you start, and stop when you reach it;
- never chase losses or play with money meant for bills;
- use the deposit limits, reality checks, cool-off and self-exclusion tools that licensed casinos provide.
If gambling stops being fun, free and confidential help is available from GamCare, GambleAware, Gambling Therapy or a local helpline in your country.
