Super Hot Fruits Review: The Original Hot Spins Game and Its Two RTPs

Super Hot Fruits is the 2015 fruit slot that introduced Inspired’s Hot Spins: any win of 4× the stake or more is replayed on four reel sets at once. Everything else is deliberately bare — 5×3, 10 lines, one Wild, no free spins. It is also the game where published figures disagree most: Inspired lists a 90% RTP, casino databases list 94%, and nobody agrees on the top multiplier. This review separates what is confirmed from what is not.

Which RTP is right?

Inspired’s own game page states 90% twice. SlotCatalog, SlotsTemple and VegasSlotsOnline give 94% (one VSO table says 95%), and SlotCatalog marks the game as having an RTP range. The likeliest explanation is that several versions exist and the studio page shows one of them — the same pattern as Mighty Hot Wilds, where Inspired lists 94.66% against 96.40% in databases.

The gap matters. On €100 staked, the long-run average loss is €10 at 90% and €6 at 94%. Before playing, open the game’s help screen: it shows the RTP of the version your casino runs.

Until you have checked the help screen, assume the lower figure. At 90%, Super Hot Fruits would return less than any other slot we review.

Symbols and pays

One database publishes the paytable in multiples of the stake for 3, 4 and 5 symbols on a line (how to read paytable units). It matches the pattern of the later Hot Spins games, but treat it as unconfirmed:

Symbol 3 4 5
Crown 10 50 250
Seven 7.5 20 50
Watermelon, bell 5 10 40
Plum, grapes 2 5 20
Lemon, orange, cherry 1 3 15

The Wild is stacked and lands only on the middle reel, where it can fill the whole reel. Sources disagree on whether it appears in the base game or only in Hot Spins; in Hot Spins it is copied onto reel 3 of all four sets.

Hot Spins: how the original works

  1. Trigger: any win of 4× the stake or more. Inspired describes the feature as starting automatically; some databases say you can decline it and collect.
  2. Cost: each Hot Spin costs at least 4× the stake that triggered it, taken from the win meter, and plays all four reel sets.
  3. End: the feature stops after 50 Hot Spins, when the meter falls below the cost of a spin, or when you collect — which you can do at any time.
  4. Return: Hot Spins are listed at 100% RTP, so on average they do not change your result, only how far it can swing.

How Hot Spins compare with Bullets and Bounty’s Bonus Gamble and other features that put a win at risk is covered in our gamble features guide.

Bets from 0.10 to 100.
Inspired's page lists a 90% RTP; databases show 94%.

No confirmed top multiplier, only a 250,000 cash cap.
Hot Spins stop at 50, half the limit in Mighty Hot Wilds.

Who should play it, and who should skip it

Good fit if you:

  • want the original Hot Spins game with nothing else in the way;
  • like deciding when to stop a feature yourself;
  • can confirm a 94% version at your casino.

Probably not for you if you:

  • want free spins or bonus rounds — there are none;
  • are offered the 90% version: the later Hot Spins games return more;
  • need a published top multiplier before you play.

Super Hot Fruits FAQ

What is the RTP of Super Hot Fruits?
Inspired's game page lists 90%; SlotCatalog and other databases list 94%. Several versions probably exist, so check the help screen at your casino. Hot Spins are listed at 100%.
How do Hot Spins work in Super Hot Fruits?
A win of 4x the stake or more becomes a meter. Each Hot Spin costs at least 4x the stake and plays four reel sets; you can collect at any time, and the feature ends after 50 Hot Spins or when the meter runs low.
Does Super Hot Fruits have free spins?
No. Hot Spins are the only feature; there are no free spins, Scatters or bonus buys.
What is the max win in Super Hot Fruits?
Inspired gives a cash cap of 250,000. Databases disagree on the top multiplier (410x, 625x or 2,500x), so none is confirmed.
Is there a newer version?
Yes: Super Hot Fruits Megaways (2021, 94.03% RTP). Super Fruits Wild and Mighty Hot Wilds also use Hot Spins.
