What happens on a spin
The Fire Zone
Every spin, a random area of the grid becomes the Fire Zone: 2×2, 3×3, 4×4 or 5×6 cells. Whatever lands inside it is upgraded:
- a Wild gets a x2, x3 or x10 multiplier;
- an Eater becomes a Super Eater;
- a Bonus symbol becomes a Super Bonus;
- a Revolver’s bullets are raised to higher values.
Eaters and Revolvers
As in the first game, these only step in when a spin has produced no win. An Eater removes a random number of symbols and turns into a Wild; a Super Eater leaves a Wild with x2, x3 or x10, and the multipliers of several Wilds in one win are added. If there is still no win, up to 6 Revolvers can appear: a Normal Revolver spins once, a Super Revolver spins again after hitting a bullet, and a Super Fire Revolver makes every Revolver with bullets left spin again.

| Bullet | Value | Bullet | Value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Purple | x2 | Yellow-green | x30 |
| Dark blue | x3 | Orange | x50 |
| Sky blue | x5 | Red | x100 |
| Turquoise | x10 | Pink | x200 |
| Green | x20 | White | x1,000 |
| Golden | x3,000 | ||
The bullets that hit form a total multiplier. It is applied only to wins on spins where a Revolver hits a bullet.

Free spins: Gatornado and Fire Gatornado
| Bonus symbols | Round | Spins | What is special |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 | Gatornado Spins | 7 | Each Bonus symbol adds +1 spin, each Super Bonus +2 |
| 4 | Fire Gatornado Spins | 9 | The Fire Zone is always 4×4 or 5×6; every Revolver is a Super Fire Revolver |
In both rounds the total multiplier carries over from spin to spin until the end. If a Revolver is upgraded during the feature, its remaining bullets are paid out before the next spin.
Bonus buys and Boosters

| Option | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Gatornado Spins | 80× | The 3-Bonus round |
| Lucky Draw | 285× | A draw: two chances in three of Gatornado Spins, one in three of Fire Gatornado Spins |
| Bullet Juicer | 390× | 7 spins with every Revolver fully loaded |
| Fire Gatornado Spins | 700× | The 4-Bonus round |
| Bonus Booster | 3× | Guarantees a Bonus symbol on reel 2 |
| Kill Spin | 8× | A spin with bullets of x10 or more |
| Overkill Spin | 50× | Super or Super Fire Revolvers, bullets of x50 or more |
| Massacre Spin | 1,400× | Super Fire Revolvers with bullets of x1,000 or more |
The Lucky Draw is priced almost exactly at the weighted average of the two rounds it can give: two thirds of 80× plus one third of 700× is about 286.67×. It does not make Fire Gatornado Spins cheaper on average; it only spreads the outcome.
Availability of buys depends on the casino and the market; in the first Gator Hunters they were not offered to UK players. A Massacre Spin at a €1 bet costs €1,400. See what bonus buys cost on average.
Side Hustle and xTra Spin
- Side Hustle is a set of optional side bets placed before a spin: that a given character (Captain, Liz, Buddy or Greg) is killed, that a Super Bonus or Super Eater appears, that the multiplier reaches 100 or 200, or that the spin is dead. Several can run at once; Nolimit City does not publish their prices.
- xTra Spin repeats a spin while keeping the total multiplier and loaded Revolvers. It is offered only when it costs no more than the spin’s win, and in this game only after a scatter win in the main game.

The sequel triggers its bonus more often and has a higher ceiling, but it trades the first game’s four upgrade paths for two fixed rounds. Our review of the original Gator Hunters covers its Swamp, Frenzy, Gator and Apex Predator Spins.
Pros and cons
Who should play it, and who should skip it
Good fit if you:
- liked the first game and want the bonus a little more often;
- chase large multipliers — a golden bullet alone is worth x3,000;
- like controlling the pace with boosters and side bets.
Probably not for you if you:
- want steady results — this is still an extreme-volatility game;
- prefer simple rules: Fire Zone, three Revolver types, eight buy options and side bets take time;
- play where bonus buys are not offered and the base game alone is not enough for you.
